Random Lake, WI — The School District of Random Lake is proud to recognize our partnership with Woodgenix, the local furniture manufacturer, to design and deliver 21st-century furniture for classrooms and learning spaces across the district. This partnership is made possible through a combination of grant funding and referendum resources, demonstrating the district’s commitment to creating modern, adaptable learning environments.
The collaboration with Woodgenix will enable the district to upgrade its classroom furniture, providing students and teachers with innovative, flexible designs that support contemporary teaching methods, and foster collaboration, creativity, and engagement. The furniture is specifically designed to meet the needs of 21st-century learning, including features that encourage adaptability, movement, and technological integration.
“We’re excited to partner with Woodgenix in creating learning spaces that reflect the needs of today’s students,” said Dr. Mike Trimberger, District Administrator of Random Lake. “Our goal is to provide an environment that not only enhances student engagement in a modern classroom but also highlights the quality products available in our local community.”
“We believe in the power of collaboration to shape the future of education,” said Paul Golden, President of Woodgenix. “This project has allowed our employees to interact with students in a way that allows us to create learning environments that inspire students and allow teachers to implement dynamic and effective teaching strategies. Our employees are parents and alumni of the District, and we are proud to be part of this exciting initiative with the School District of Random Lake.”
The new furniture began to roll out across the district in August 2024 and will continue for the remainder of this school year. While the furniture is being manufactured, students have had the opportunity to gain hands-on skills by working directly with the manufacturing process.
Through a combination of competitive grants and referendum funds, the collaboration with Woodgenix ensures that the district leverages financial resources wisely. This collaboration is another example of how the district has created Strong Community Connections that provide our students and community the Random Lake Advantage.
