Our National Honor Society raised $700 for Toys4Tots of Sheboygan County! They did two “miracle minutes” at girls basketball games & sold holiday treat bags. This past weekend, they shopped for gifts for teens, as they are often left out in toy drives. Thank you for your initiative and generosity during the holiday season! #strongschoolculture #RamPride

Finn V. recently served as the "librarian for the day" as part of the library's October Reading Challenge. Finn worked in the elementary/middle school library checking in and out books, laminating materials, and organizing and cleaning displays.
As part of the reading challenge, students read a mystery book or a scary book and logged their minutes on Beanstack, an online reading log. For every 30 minutes read, students received a ticket which could then be submitted in three different prize categories--candy, a free book, or "librarian for the day." Great job, Finn!

Tomorrow is the last day for elementary students to donate canned goods for the food drive! The classes with the most donations will earn reserved seats for the holiday concert on Dec. 7th. Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grades will be singing from 6-6:40 and 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades will be singing from 7-7:40.

We are thankful for our Random Lake Community! Enjoy the holiday break! #RLAdvantage

The Rams Childcare Center recently received a 3-star rating from YoungStar! To achieve this, the staff created curriculum-rich environments that are developmentally appropriate for the ages in their care while maintaining state guidelines for safety and cleanliness. Rams Care has made numerous changes in the classrooms and as a center overall. They have created two new classrooms to maintain a growing enrollment, including an after-school room at the elementary school. They have also completed numerous continuing education courses and continue to do so to increase staff education. Way to go, Rams Care! #RLAdvantage

Our middle school students had their monthly assembly to talk about this month's theme, friendship. They played some team-building games and recognized the girls basketball teams for their great seasons! #GoRams #strongschoolculture

On Friday, November 10th, we will be having our Veterans Day program at 9:00 am. All veterans are welcome!
Elementary students should wear red, middle school students should wear white, and high school students should wear blue for this occasion.
All three schools will have students participating in the ceremony. Our special focus this year is the flag, but we will also be honoring Vietnam Veterans for the 50th anniversary of the last combat troops leaving South Vietnam and recent graduates of RLSD who have enlisted. We look forward to your attendance! #RamPride #rlalumnination #VeteransDay2023
