Mrs. Grubisic attended the 2025 WEMTA (Wisconsin Educational Media & Technology Association) Conference on March 9–11 in Brookfield. Besides attending nine one-hour sessions about online information evaluation, library program planning, etc., Mrs. Grubisic was fortunate to meet three spectacular authors—Ruta Sepetys, Steve Sheinkin, and Jerry Craft! Ruta is known for writing historical fiction for young adults, while Steve Sheinkin primarily writes nonfiction. Jerry Craft is best known for his Newbery-winning graphic novel New Kid.

RLHS alum Tanner Klein, a Wildlife Biologist with the WI DNR, stopped by the Wilderness Science classes to share his expertise on chronic wasting disease (CWD).
